Rocco John Iacovone studied with Lee Konitz, and under Nadia Boulanger's direct disciples. He played in Sam River's Studio Rivbea Orchestra,with Karl Berger, Barry Altschul, Jazz Composers Orchestra, Larry and Phil Grenadier, Improvisational Composers Ensemble, Coalition of Creative Arts and Rocco John Quartet, The Red Microphone,Confluence, The Dissident Arts Orchestra and Rare Form.
